The Vimpex SG-S-R-32 is a Smart+Guard call point cover for protecting call points and emergency switches. It helps prevent vandalism, accidental damage and misuse. It suits sites troubled by unwanted alarms, and this red version mounts on the surface with its standard 32 mm spacer, and has no sounder.

Does this cover have a sounder?
No. This is the No Sounder version. Integral sounder covers are separate parts, SG-SS-x.
Is it for indoor or outdoor use?
Indoor. A weatherproof version with a 40mm back box is a separate option.
Will it fit my call point?
It suits a range of call points and emergency switches. Measure your device first, and check the fit with the maker if in doubt.
What depth of spacer comes with it?
32 mm, which is supplied as standard with surface mount models. Spacers of 18 mm and 50 mm are also options.
Does it stop someone using the call point in a fire?
No. The cover lifts on its hinge, so the device underneath can still be reached. It adds a step, so include it in the fire risk review.
