Altron AW4460/5 Light Duty Tilt-Down Tubular CCTV Pole, 5m, Max 25kg at Pole Top

What it does

The AW4460 is a Light Duty Tilt-Down Tubular CCTV Pole, more suitable for fixed camera and dome installations; the AW4460 range is suitable for loads up to light PTZ and dual dome applications. The AW4460/5 is the 5 m height in the range.

The pole tilts down so that camera equipment can be serviced at ground level, with a max equip weight at pole top of 25 kg and a max equip surface area of 0.25 m2.

Where it is used

Altron describes it as suitable for installations where the public have access and for public access areas, with flush doors and secure locks designed for security installations.

It is constructed in high tensile steel and hot dip galvanised after fabrication for durability (to ISO 1461), with the option of painting over the galvanised finish in BS and RAL colours.

Installation notes

All dimensions are in mm unless stated otherwise. The pole (ØB) is 114 mm, the post size (D2) is 150 mm, the post height (C) is 1700 mm and the door aperture (H x W) is 500x110.

Allow a pole rear clearance when tilting (F) of 1350 mm. The winch part number is DW1000/60, the demountable winches allow for a secure installation, and the product weight is 130 kg.

Poles are supplied with backboard as standard. Design analysis is carried out using a specialist software package in accordance with ILE TR7, BS6399 and BS8100.
