C-TEC BF433A/CX/SR is a wall sounder VAD.
The C-Tec BF433A/CX/SR is an addressable wall sounder with VAD designed for effective alarm signalling. It is third-party certified to EN54-3, EN54-23, and EN54-17 by LPCB, ensuring compliance and reliability. The device provides 103dB(A) sound output at 1 meter and a ‘W-2.4-8.2’ light distribution when wall mounted, delivering minimum 0.4 lux across a 2.4m by 8.2m area.
It features an onboard short-circuit loop isolator, group addressing for simultaneous operation of multiple devices, and offers 7 selectable volume levels with up to 15 tone pairs. Rated IP21C (Type A), it operates on 24V DC with 550A quiescent current and 14.5mA alarm current when the VAD-lit sounder is active.
