CCTV Kits
These Hikvision analogue CCTV kits pair turret cameras with an AcuSense DVR, in 2MP, 5MP and 4K versions with either 2 or 4 cameras. The 2MP and 5MP kits use turrets with built-in audio, and the 4K kits use 8MP turrets with Smart EXIR night vision up to 60 m. The cameras in every kit have a 2.8 mm lens and IP67 weatherproofing.
Choosing CCTV Kits
Choose the resolution first, then the number of cameras, and plan the coax and power runs.
2MP kits
The 2MP kits come with 2 or 4 Full HD 1080p turrets. Their cameras have a built-in microphone with audio over coax, a 2.8 mm wide-angle lens, night vision up to 40 m and TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS output, and in the two-camera kit the lens covers around 106° horizontally. The AcuSense hybrid DVR filters motion alerts to people and vehicles, compresses with H.265 Pro+, has HDMI and VGA outputs and takes a single SATA drive of up to 10 TB.
5MP kits
The 5MP kits pair 2 or 4 fixed-lens 5 MP turret cameras with built-in audio and a 4-channel AcuSense hybrid DVR. They suit homeowners, shopkeepers, offices, workshops and light-industrial sites that want dependable security without the complexity of a fully managed cloud system. Both 5MP kits are designed to be easy to expand and are built for faster incident searches.
4K kits
The 4K kits use 2 or 4 8MP turrets with a 2.8 mm lens, Smart EXIR infrared up to 60 m and an IP67 rating, recording on a 4-channel AcuSense DVR that focuses alerts on people and vehicles, with H.265 Pro+ and up to 10 TB of storage. Both are analogue kits: the two-camera kit gives 4K without the complexity of a full IP system, and the four-camera kit gives 4K without changing your wiring. The four-camera kit runs coax/BNC video cabling and 12 VDC power to each camera.

Frequently asked questions
What hard drive storage do the kit DVRs take?
Up to 10 TB in the 2MP and 4K kits. The DVRs in both 2MP kits and the two-camera 4K kit take a single SATA drive of up to 10 TB, and the four-camera 4K kit supports up to 10 TB of storage. The 4-channel AcuSense hybrid DVR in the two-camera 5MP kit has single-drive storage support and H.265 Pro+ compression.
Can a 4K analogue kit run over coax cable?
Yes, the four-camera 4K kit uses coax/BNC video cabling with 12 VDC power to each camera, so it gives 4K without changing your wiring. Both 4K kits pair 8MP turrets with a 4-channel AcuSense DVR, and the two-camera kit gives 4K without the complexity of a full IP system.
What comes in a Hikvision CCTV kit?
Hikvision turret cameras, 2 or 4 of them, and an AcuSense DVR that records them. Every kit records on an AcuSense DVR: in the 2MP and 4K kits the AcuSense DVR filters motion alerts by human and vehicle and compresses with H.265 Pro+, and the 5MP kits are built for faster incident searches on a 4-channel AcuSense hybrid DVR. The cameras are 2MP, 5MP or 8MP 4K turrets.
How do I choose a CCTV kit?
Pick the resolution first, then 2 or 4 cameras. The 2MP kits, made for homes and driveways, use Full HD 1080p turrets with a built-in microphone and night vision up to 40 m. The 5MP kits are aimed at homeowners, shopkeepers, offices, workshops and light-industrial sites, with built-in audio on every turret. The 4K kits, for driveways, workshops and small shops, use 8MP turrets with Smart EXIR infrared up to 60 m.
How far can the kit cameras see at night?
Up to 60 m with the 4K kits, whose 8MP turrets use Smart EXIR infrared. The 2MP turrets have night vision up to 40 m, and the 5MP turrets have IR night vision. All the kit cameras use a 2.8 mm lens with IP67 weatherproofing.
