A body-worn camera records video at the wearer's viewpoint, for staff who need to record events while on the move rather than at a fixed position. The Hikvision DS-MCW407/32G/GLE(D) records 1080p to 32GB and is rated IP68, and the DS-MH1711-HM is a chest harness for body cameras.

With a charging cradle. The Hikvision DS-MH1411-B1 is a single-port cradle using mini-USB and USB 2.0 at DC 5 V, and the DS-MH1412-B1 is a 6-port cradle with RJ45 Gigabit, powered at 12V 5A, for charging six cameras together, with the RJ45 port used for device management.

PanoVu is Hikvision's range of panoramic and multisensor cameras, which cover a wide area from one position. Examples include the DS-2CD6D42G0-IS dual-direction 4MP camera, the DS-2CD6D52G0-IHS with two 5MP sensors, and the DS-2CD6D44G1H-IZS 4×4MP multisensor dome with 2.8-12mm lenses. The DS-2CD6D42G0-IS and DS-2CD6D52G0-IHS state PoE.

It analyses people crossing a line beneath it and counts entries and exits, alongside normal video. Hikvision DS-2CD6825G0/C-IS and DS-2CD6825G0/C-IVS dual-lens cameras are 2 MP people-counting cameras with a 2 mm lens, mounted over doorways and entrances, and the C-IS model adds audio and alarm interfaces.

A cube camera is a small box-shaped indoor camera that sits on a shelf or wall without a conventional housing. Hikvision cube cameras here include the 8 MP DS-2CD2483G2-I and the 4MP DS-2CD2446G2-I, both AcuSense models with PoE and a 2.8 mm lens.

A DSM (Driver Status Monitoring) camera faces the driver of a vehicle and flags behaviour such as drowsiness, yawning, distraction, phone use, smoking and a missing seatbelt. The Hikvision AE-VC1B1I-ISF is a 720p DSM camera with a 6 mm lens and 940 nm IR, which gives no visible red glow.

Yes. The Hikvision DS-2XM6222G1-IM/ND is a 2 MP mobile IP camera for vehicle and rail use, with a 2.8 mm lens, 10 m IR and an IP68 metal housing, powered over PoE through a 4-pin M12 aviation connector. The AE-VC1B1I-ISF DSM cameras also suit buses, coaches and fleet vehicles.

The types record differently. The DS-MCW407 body-worn camera records to its own 32GB, the AE-VC1B1I-ISF (M12) DSM camera to an onboard microSD card of up to 256 GB, and the DS-2XM6222G1-IM/ND to a microSD card. The PanoVu, cube and people-counting cameras are network cameras, and several, such as the DS-2CD6D52G0-IHS, also record to microSD.
