Ruijie Routers

Ruijie routers here fall into two groups: Wi-Fi routers and mesh kits for homes and small offices, many of them Reyee models, and cloud-managed business routers that sit at the edge of an office, shop or hotel network. They include N300 Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 routers, mesh kits, a Wi-Fi 7 router, PoE routers for access points and cameras, and a rack-mount router with 10G SFP+ uplinks.

Choosing Ruijie Routers

Decide whether you need Wi-Fi from the router itself or a wired gateway that feeds separate access points, then size it by users and ports.

Home and small office Wi-Fi routers

The RG-EW300N is an entry-level 300 Mbps, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 router, and the RG-EW300 PRO a 300Mbps router with four 5dBi antennas, recommended for 16 terminals. Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 models include the RG-EW1200, the RG-EW1200G PRO with six external antennas and gigabit ports, and the AC1300 RG-EW1300G. For Wi-Fi 6 there is the RG-EW3000GX, which supports 160 MHz channels and Dual-WAN, and the RG-EW3200GX PRO. The RG-EW7200BE PRO is Wi-Fi 7 with Multi-Link Operation, 2.5 Gbps WAN and LAN ports and a USB 3.0 port.

Mesh kits

The RG-M18 2-pack is AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 and supports up to 192 devices, and the RG-M32 uses four dual-band antennas and eight signal amplifiers, with a smart signal indicator to help place the sub-router. Several routers also support Reyee Mesh, including the RG-EW1200 and RG-EW3200GX PRO.

Business and PoE routers

Look at the RG-EG business routers for an office, shop or hotel. The RG-EG209GS has 8 gigabit ports plus one SFP port and supports 200 recommended concurrent clients at up to 600 Mbps; the RG-EG310GH-E is a rack-mountable 10-port router with 1.5 Gbps throughput for up to 300 concurrent clients. PoE models power access points or cameras directly: the RG-EG305GH-P-E is a 5-port gigabit router with PoE support, and the RG-EG210G-P-V3 has 10 ports, 8 of them PoE+, with a ~110 W budget. The RG-EG1510XS adds 2.5G ports, dual 10G SFP+ uplinks and a 2.5" SATA bay for local logs.

Which Ruijie router suits a small business?

A cloud-managed business router with built-in VPN and capacity for your number of users suits a small business. The RG-EG210G-P-V3 is designed for small offices, retail, hotels and schools, is recommended for up to about 200 concurrent clients and supports IPsec, OpenVPN, L2TP and PPTP VPN. What is a rack mount router?

A rack mount router is built to be fitted in an equipment rack, often as a 1U unit, instead of standing on a desk. The Ruijie RG-EG1510XS is a 1U rack-mount, cloud-managed edge router recommended for up to 1,500 concurrent clients, with dual 10G SFP+ uplinks. The RG-EG310GH-E is also built for rack mounting, with one WAN, six LAN and three LAN/WAN ports.
